
The IT Project Management Office supports the effective planning, coordination and management of Information Technology projects across the college community.
Projects that are coordinated by the PMO have an information and communication technology component and either involve the implementation of a new system or a major change to an existing system.
Our role is to:
- Develop, maintain and implement project management methodologies, processes, tools and templates
- Provide support, advice and resources for Information Technology Project Leaders
- Maintain a portfolio of information technology projects
- Identify linkages and inter-dependencies between projects
- Facilitate awareness and commpliance with college standards and guidelines
- Analyze and compile summary reports and information for the college senior management, IT management team, IT advisory committees and business owners
- Facilitate regular project portfolio status meetings between the IT management team
- Assist with project quality assurance services
- Track and monitor project document flow throughout the project lifecycle
