Welcome to our Baccalaureate Studies program at Palm Beach Community College!

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management degree program is being offered for the first time this fall term. The application process has been ongoing since January 2009, and fall classes are underway. I am so pleased to see this natural expansion of our college's mission to provide affordable, accessible and excellent higher education to our community.

This degree will provide you with the management knowledge and skills that employers tell us are so needed in the workforce - finance, legal and ethical issues, management information systems, leadership, human resources and organizational decision making. You will be able to apply these skills in three specific concentrations: Business Administration, Health Administration and Public Safety Administration. Please consider taking your next career path step by earning your bachelor's degree at PBCC! The Baccalaureate Studies program team is here to guide, direct, teach and inspire you toward your career goals!

Onward and upward!

Dr. Magdala Ray
Dean of Baccalaureate Studies

About the Bachelor of Applied Science degree

A Bachelor of Applied Science degree is primarily designed for students with Associate in Science/Applied Science degrees to earn a bachelor's degree. In the state of Florida, Associate in Science/Applied Science degrees typically do not transfer to a university. In 2002, the state legislature authorized community colleges to begin offering bachelor'sdegree in selected fields of study.
