About the Bachelor of Applied Science degree
A Bachelor of Applied Science degree is primarily designed for students with Associate in Science/Applied Science degrees to earn a bachelor's degree. In the state of Florida, Associate in Science/Applied Science degrees typically do not transfer to a university. In 2002, the state legislature authorized community colleges to begin offering bachelor'sdegree in selected fields of study.
