Summer 2010 Tropical Ecology Course - Costa Rica

Join us as we journey to spectacular Costa Rica!

Experience an educational opportunity that abounds in natural diversity and beauty. Explore tropical rainforests, tropical riverine and floodplain, Mangrove, seagrass and coral reefs, studying the relationships between organisms and these various ecosystems. Palm Beach State College students and students from other academic institutions will study the biological structure of pristine and disturbed habitats.

The course will also address efforts to provide hydrologic and environmental baseline data of ecosystems and an evaluation of habitat quality in a number of Costa Rican locations.
