
There are various different funds that are awarded from institutional funds. Below you will see some of the scholarships that PBCC offers. The scholarship recipients are determined by specific departments.
PBCC ACCESS & OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP The award is presented to an outstanding graduating sophomore who exemplifies the goals of diversity in higher education. This award is part of the Graduating Sophomore Process. It is awarded at both Fall and Spring Commencement every academic year.
PBCC ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP Athletic scholarships for athletes accepted to participate in a PBCC sport team; Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Women's Softball, Men's Baseball, or Women's Volleyball.
PBCC CHEERLEADERS SCHOLARSHIP The scholarship is awarded to students who are involved in the Cheerleading Team. Student must be enrolled in full-time during Fall and Spring with a minimum 2.0 GPA and must have a completed FAFSA and meeting Standards of Academic Progress.
PBCC C SPENCER POMPEY SCHOLARSHIP A yearly award is presented to 5 nominated students who are first Generation college students, enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits with a minimum 2.0 GPA with a completed FAFSA. This award is for two years and therefore students are selected every two years.
PBCC DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEE Scholarship awarded to the Student Trustee member for the amount to cover tuition and fees for 6 credits. Student must have a FAFSA and be meeting the Standards of Academic Progress.
PBCC DSS SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship is to be given to students in the Disability Support Services Center.
PBCC FASTBREAK SCHOLARSHIP Outreach scholarship awarded in the summer for one course and book to graduating high school students. Students must have a FAFSA on file. From the summer students four $1000.00 yearly scholarships for two years are also awarded to students that are at least 12(awards will be prorated in not full-time) credits with a 2.5 GPA.
PBCC GED MERIT SCHOLARSHIP Awarded to the top 10 scores of GED Graduates. Award will pay for instate tuition for students are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits with a minimum of 3.0 GPA up to a maximum of 65 credits. Students must have a completed FAFSA and complete a minimum of 12 credits per academic year. Scholarship does not pay for summer.
PBCC HONORS SCHOLARSHIP Honors classes enrolled student with completed 6 courses with a minimum 3.6 GPA and no more than four withdrawals.
PBCC LEADERSHIP DEVELOP. SCHOLARSHIP Three scholarships are awarded for the amount of in-state tuition for 3 credits.
PBCC MOST OUTSTANDING SCHOLARSHIP Student Scholar award is presented to the graduates with the highest grade point average who have completed the College program within two years. This award is part of the Graduating Sophomore Process. It is awarded Commencement.
PBCC MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP Perform in student recital, minimum 2.5 in overall coursework and 3.0 in musical coursework. Recipients of "Troubadours Scholarship" must make a commitment for two semesters and must attend rehearsal and performances. "Music Teacher/Professional Musician Scholarship" must be a teacher or professional quality student. Scholarship will cover tuition for music ensemble class.
PBCC PRESIDENT'S SCHOLARSHIP Two year award given to the first 100 students that graduate high school with a minimum of 3.5 GPA or are in the top 10% of graduating class with a 3.2 GPA or higher for Palm Beach County. Students be enrolled in minimum of 12 credits and must have a FAFSA. Pays in-state tuition for up to 15 credits a semester and up to maximum of 65 credits. Does not pay Summer courses. Must have completed 30 credits and Maintain a 3.0 GPA for renewal.
PBCC HONORS BOOK SCHOLARSHIP A bookstore stipend is awarded to a student that is a President Scholar Recipient, complete at least one Honors Course with a grade "B" or better, completed a minimum of 12 hours with a 3.5 GPA.

PBCC SUMMER BRIDGE SCHOLARSHIP Outreach scholarship awarded in the summer for one course and book graduating high school students.. Students must have a FAFSA on file.
