If you love working with people, then a career as an early childcare provider or a human services specialist may be right for you.  PBCC offers career pathways in both!

In early childhood education, you can begin by taking entry-level coursework to prepare you for the State-mandated competency exams.  The Early Childhood Professional Certification (ECPC) will prepare you to work with children ages 3 - 5 years old  in a preschool setting and the credits you earn will transfer into the associate in science degree.  College credit certificates allow you to obtain the skills in specific areas. 

In the Human Services program, you can gain the knowledge, skills, attitudes and professional training essential to become a service assistant, social service aide, or case manager aide, and PBCC's career pathway enables you to take the first step by obtaining your college credit certificate first!
