Welcome to Distance Learning at Palm Beach Community College (PBCC)

Whether you are a full-time faculty member or an adjunct, this handbook has been designed to help assist you in developing and teaching distance learning courses. Knowing that our faculty members have teaching responsibilities in the traditional format and distance learning, this handbook is intended to serve as an easy-to-reference informational tool. As such, it supplements, but does not replace the PBCC Faculty Handbook.

The College Catalog, which contains the College calendar, student policies, program information and course descriptions, is an invaluable reference for all faculty. Copies are available in the registration office at each PBCC College location. It is also available online: Catalog

Getting Results a free online course for teaching in community colleges.
Designed for adjuncts, but it is really "teaching 101" for anyone teaching at the college level.
It is filled with videos, readings, discussion questions, etc.
