Fast Break is a summer scholarship program at Palm Beach State College. This program provides graduating high school seniors and GED recipients in Palm Beach County an opportunity to enroll in a free college credit course. Students will not be required to attend Palm Beach State in the fall.
College credits earned can be transferred.
FAST BREAK SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Student MUST be a 2010 graduate from an accredited High School or GED recipient in Palm Beach County and have a standard high school diploma.
- Student MUST be a legal resident of Florida (12 months in the state of Florida) or a Resident Alien of Florida (the student must submit a photocopy of his or her Resident Alien Card with the Scholarship application).
- Student MUST have and maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher.
