5. Can videotapes be ordered by phone? No, all request must be through the internet at the following link http://www.pbcc.edu/mtis/vr_req_form.asp
6. Is there any software available for check out? Grade Quick Software checkout is permitted for 1-week check out.
7. Can I take videos home with me? Videos in our collection cannot be checked out for off campus use, with the exception of classes taught off campus. Temporary Hold Videos & Streaming Videos may be viewed from home.
8. Can full-time faculty reserve Video tape, DVD, or CD for multiple days? Yes, media material may be released for up to three (3) consecutive business days without immediate return.
9. If my student needs to present using classroom multimedia equipment, and the instructor has not yet been trained, what is the process? View the guidelines @ By appointment. An online request may be completed 3 business days in advance by the instructor.
10. Who provides Non-Electric/Non Amplified Lectern (Podium) for meetings or classroom use? Podiums are supplied and purchased by Academic Affairs. If a classroom is missing a podium, it is the decision of Academic Affairs where we could remove one from and or to purchase additional podiums. Please contact Academic Affairs, not Facilities.
11. Who provides Powered/Amplified Lectern (Podium) for meetings or classroom use? Media Technology. Please complete an online request @ www.pbcc.edu/mtis/br_req_form.asp
12. How and when do I return my multimedia key? If you have received your multimedia key from the media department, then return the key to the multimedia department room HT 415, however, if you received your multimedia key from the facility department then you will need to return your multimedia key to the facility department receiving area.
13. What alternatives do I have for returning my key to the media office? You may use the drop boxes located in the following areas, BT 108, CB Building, and Mod 4.
14. Where are PBCC library cards issued? The Panther Student ID Cards act as a library card. Cards are issued in the bookstore and enabled by SLC Computer Lab BT 216 and verified by MTIS HT 415 for library use only.
15. Where is the Boca Raton campus library located? PBCC Boca shares FAU Boca Raton campus library.
16. Can I check items out from FAU's library? Yes, present your PBCC ID card and current class schedule to obtain an FAU library card for check out.
17. Can I use the Central campus' library? Yes, a PBCC library card must be presented.

19. Do Media Technology and Instructional Services provide graphic assistance? Yes, contact extension 5-4800 for assistance.
20. Where can I make copies? Instructional Support Center (ISC) provides copier services in BK 107. A twenty-four (24) hour advance notice is required. MS Word Documents saved as *.doc or *.rtf format may be emailed to ISCSouth@pbcc.edu three (3) business days in advance.
21. Does Media Technology provide paper for faculty? No, Adjunct Faculty should use the PTLC CB 203 for printing from computer programs. Paper for office printer may be obtained from the Instructional Support Center (ISC) Room BK 107.
22. Can I print any documents in Media Technology? No, all documents should be referred to the ISC department.
23. Where do I go to have large quantities of copies made? The Instructional Support Center BK 107. A twenty-four (24) hour in advance notice is required.

28. Does Media Technology print business cards? No, official college business cards are printed by the District Graphic Communications Department. Contact the print shop at 1-3463

30. Where is the scantron machine located? The machine is located in the Professional Teaching and Learning Centers (PTLC) room CB 203 and BT 100.
31. Who provides service when the scantron is not working? The Testing Center BT 126 at 561-862-4324 ext.5-4324

40. Why can't I check out a Mavica/Laptop/etc. for an entire semester? Due to share privileges, equipment may only be checked out for a one (1) week period.
41. Who provides batteries for College-wide electronic devices? Each department should supply batteries for items purchased by that department. 42. Does Media Technology provide PowerPoint training? No, Employee Computer Training is available through the Department of Professional Development at http://www.pbcc.edu/hr.xml. After training, Student Assistants are available for advance assistance.
